Welcome home and thank you for all you do.

Sherri

Now we can really say "WELCOME HOME". Thank you for everything you've endured. Also, for letting everyone know you finally reached your family.

toni

FP - you actually sound happy and melancholy in this post. Good thoughts though. A big hug to you and welcome home to you and your family. Now, don't stop blogging!!

Glad you finally made the long trip home to CO, MAJ Delaplane. I can't wait for my turn to go home in five months.

TheNewGuy

Welcome back... you gentlemen are much appreciated.

Teresa

I'm a little late, but welcome back. I have no more to say right now because it's hard to type with tears in my eyes. A beautiful post.

Thank you.

Well written as always. Glad you are finally back with the lovely wife and kiddos!

So glad to hear you're all the way home, Maj. This is an excellent post; we all need to be more aware of how very blessed we are in this country. Enjoy, Sir! Be sure to let your family know how much we appreciate all of you!

To echo the customs agent... WELCOME HOME! (yeah, I know you've been back a few weeks, but this is your first post from home)
I'm so glad you're finally back on US soil and in the arms of your family.
I think I read that you will be attending the Milblog Conference- is this true? If so... I can't wait to meet you in person, since I'll be there too. WOOT!

As for fear, it's always amazing to me how you guys react to things like garbage on the side of the road (is it an IED? or just garbage?), traffic (why is that car going so slow?), and the dark upon returning home. It's a glimpse into the person behind the soldier's uniform, and I for one, really appreciate hearing things like that.

Again... WELCOME HOME!

Colorado is an amazing place to live! Thank you again for you service.

Firepower Forward,

You write beautifully.

Welcome Home Major! Breathe deep the air of America....home of the free because of the brave. Thank you for all you have done, I'm glad you are back in the arms of your loved ones.

Don Smith

Thank you sir. I adeeply appreciate your sacrifice and wish you and yours much happiness in the months to come. God Bless You.

Sharon

Welcome ( all the way) Home! Once again, you express yourself so beautifully.... "Thank you" seems so inadequate to express our gratitude to you and all those others who stand to protect us here at home. May you have a blissfully happy life and never need to do this again.

Sharon

Hmmmm.. it seems that only my NAME got posted the other day! I'm sorry! I will try again! I believe I said Welcome ALL THE WAY Home and thanked you again for putting yourself in harms way to protect us, here, safe at home. You write beautifully and I hope you will have a blissfully happy, healthy and safe life ahead of you. Thank you again.

Sharon

OK- I clearly have not had my coffee this morning as I just SAW my previous post! LOL.. well....we can't thank you enough.... literally in my case I guess!

JG

Firepower,

Welcome home to America. Thank-you again for all you have done for us, your sacrifices, your service and the long twilight between your last good-bye to Pam and your reunion with her now. You, like others, have become friends over the months and to read of your reunion with "the other half of your soul" is beyond wonderful.

I have so enjoyed your unique thought patterns and your beautiful writing. You are a very special person. God bless you always.
